It all began over 15 years ago following the collaboration between Joel and Tony on a project at the Sandy Lane Estate in St. James.This partnership quickly developed into Genesis Construction Ltd. and through invaluable word of mouth referrals, has constructed numerous spectacular residences across Barbados.

The company’s emphasis on excellence and desire for quality assurance saw the formation of a complimentary group of companies which has become known as the Genesis Group. Total Woodwork, Genesis Equipment and Genesis Holdings allow the flagship company to offer an extensive and all-encompassing range of products and services to its clientele. These include property development, property management, design and building construction, renovation, restorations and maintenance.

The approach ensures the highest standards of workmanship and efficiency levels which are second to none.

The Genesis name has become synonymous with microscopic attention to detail, an uncompromising pursuit of excellence which is aligned with a genuine love for traditional, historical Barbadian architectural styles, designs and materials. Wood and coral stone are often central components in their construction.

Joel’s immense talent first blossomed in carpentry and joinery and later expanded into project management construction within the luxury segment of the industry. Joel’s profound passion along with his pursuit of new manufacturing and building methods has helped position Genesis Construction over the years.

Director – Mr. Charles ‘Tony’ Stoute

Industry veteran Tony has a distinguished career within the construction industry, specialising in project management and quality control. With over 30 years of experience, Tony’s charisma and vast knowledge have paved the way to excellence and success.

An alliance between the two associates was formed during a Sandy Lane project and became the catalyst for a dynamic partnership, introduced with the construction of the very first Genesis Construction project, “Olivewood”.
